Supporting Nottinghamshire patients to connect with digital healthcare

This October sees the return of the national digital and social inclusion campaign ‘Get Online Week’ between 18 and 24 October 2021, with our colleagues at Connected Nottinghamshire providing a range of pop-up digital clinics to support local patients.

The week sees events taking place nationally that aim to give everyone the chance to find help and guidance to be online and use the internet and apps with confidence.

Connected Nottinghamshire will be hosting a number of ‘pop-up digital clinics’ within GP surgeries and community hubs in the area to support individuals to register with the NHS App and find out how to use it effectively. The sessions give patients the chance to improve their digital skills to take a more active role in their health, care, and wellbeing.

Taking place at nine different venues, patients can simply drop-in to speak with the team; here are details of when and where the events are on:

  • Monday 18 October – 9am to 12pm: Eastwood Primary Care Centre, Eastwood, NG16 3BS
  • Monday 18 October – 1pm to 3.30pm: Brierley Park Medical Centre, Sutton-in-Ashfield, NG17 2NF
