Promoting the future of digital healthcare in West Bridgford
Member of the Digital Notts team recently attended a public event at Rushcliffe Arena in West Bridgford to talk with members of the public about digital health, the NHS App and Patients Know Best.
The Future of Healthcare in West Bridgford event brought together professionals from a range of different organisations giving residents the opportunity to understand more about the changes to local health and wellbeing services from local GPs and other health and care experts.
The aim of the event was to enhance health, wellbeing and resilience for individuals and local services, and develop a shared vision for the future health of West Bridgford with patients and residents as equal partners to the service provided by the NHS and beyond. And understand how we do this in a sustainable way aligned to the NHS’s environmental commitments.
The Digital Notts team showcased various assistive technology and promoted ways in which patients could access their health and care services digitally, with our Technology Enabled Care and Digital Inclusion project manager on hand to speak with the attendees.
The event was a huge success with approximately 80 local residents attending – a really great opportunity for us to spread awareness and understanding of the evolution of digital health options.
