Nottinghamshire Cyber Associates Network nominated for national award

Good news for this week! The Nottinghamshire Cyber Associates Network has been shortlisted for the Collaborative Working Award as part of the Cyber Associates Network Awards 2025.

The award, coordinated by NHS England, recognises a joint project or programme, making impactful change and which demonstrates positive collaboration between cyber security and other teams in an organisation or ICS.

The Nottinghamshire Cyber Associates Network (NCAN) was established in early 2023.  NCAN has helped drive several successful collaborations and projects across our ICS including:

  • The collaborative procurement and implementation of a single Notts tenant for Reversing Labs software,
  • Joint workshops to share best practice and cyber improvement workshops including the Nottinghamshire IT Managers Groups (NITMAN), and
  • The creation of a new ICS Technical and Cyber Programme Lead to coordinate all related activity.

 

NCAN also builds upon our unique Digital Strategy Oversight Group (DSOG), which brings together senior digital leaders from Digital Notts and our system partners from our local health trusts, local authorities, primary care and the Nottingham Health Informatics Service (NHIS).

Congratulations to all nominees.  The winners will be announced via an online ceremony next Friday 14 March.
