Get Online Week 2025: Support available at Nottingham and Nottinghamshire GP Practices to help people use the NHS App.

This year will see the return of the national digital inclusion campaign ‘Get Online Week’ between Monday 20th and Friday 24th October 2025.

During the week, the Digital Notts team deliver engagement sessions with our population to support people to improve their digital skills and take a more proactive role in managing their health, care and wellbeing.
We will be delivering Digital Support Hubs within a selection of Nottingham and Nottinghamshire GP Practices to support patients in registering for and using the NHS App. Sessions will be taking place on the following days:

  • Registering for and using the NHS App.
  • How to order repeat prescriptions digitally.
  • Viewing your GP Health Record.
  • Managing upcoming and past appointments via the App.
  • Contacting your GP Practice about a health problem or update.
  • Understanding how to access hospital letters and your personal health record using our App partner – PKB.

If you would like support in registering for the NHS App for the first time, please bring a valid form of photo id (passport or UK Driving License) if possible.
