Monique Botha, a Cyber Security Analyst Technologist working across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire ICS, has been named a finalist in the NHS England Award category at the National Cyber Awards 2026. The award recognises individuals making an outstanding contribution to cyber security across the NHS and wider public sector.
The National Cyber Awards celebrate innovation, dedication and achievement across the cyber security profession. Finalists were selected by an independent judging panel from hundreds of nominations submitted from across the UK.

Cyber security is a fast-moving field, and I’ve been fortunate to work alongside colleagues who are passionate about protecting the systems and information that health and care staff rely on every day. Being recognised as a finalist is a real privilege and I’m grateful for the support I’ve received throughout my career so far.”
